Day 1: Casablanca to Fes – From the Modern to the Ancient

Your journey begins in Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and a key commercial hub. After a brief tour of the city, including a visit to the iconic Hassan II Mosque, you’ll set off towards the historic city of Fes. The drive will take you through the scenic countryside, passing through rolling hills and fertile plains.

Fes, one of the oldest and most important cities in Morocco, is a treasure trove of history and culture. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your riad, a traditional Moroccan house with an interior garden, where you can unwind and prepare for the exploration ahead.

Day 2: Discovering Fes – A Dive into Moroccan Heritage

The entire second day is dedicated to exploring Fes, a city often referred to as the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Your guided tour will begin with a visit to the Fes el Bali (Old Fes), home to one of the world’s oldest universities, the University of Al Quaraouiyine.

You’ll also pass through the lush Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and ancient kasbahs.

After exploring Ait Ben Haddou, you’ll continue your journey through the High Atlas Mountains, following the winding roads of the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, one of the highest passes in North Africa. The landscapes here are nothing short of spectacular, with dramatic mountain peaks, lush valleys, and traditional Berber villages perched on the hillsides.

As you descend from the mountains, the vibrant city of Marrakech comes into view. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your riad and have the evening free to explore the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where you can experience the lively atmosphere of Marrakech’s night markets.

Day 6: Discovering Marrakech – The Red City

The final day of your tour is dedicated to discovering the many wonders of Marrakech, also known as the Red City. Your guided tour will take you to the city’s most iconic sites, including the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech, and the Saadian Tombs, a historic royal necropolis.
